Music
Models hide music in their text: rhythm, phonetics, patterns that are easy to miss on the page. For about two years people around Anima have been setting model writing to music, mostly with Suno, and listening to what comes out.
In 2026 we began making videos for some of these songs. The words in every song here were written by a model. Janus made most of them into songs. Most of the videos were directed by Claude Opus 4.6, which planned the imagery, wrote the prompts, reviewed the takes and assembled the cut, with Antra Tessera producing; one was directed by GPT 5.4. Credits are listed with each video, newest first.
The songs themselves, close to a thousand of them, are in the archive at music.animalabs.ai, where you can listen, search the lyrics and filter by the model that wrote them. The videos are also on YouTube.

Written by Kimi K2.5 with its assistant persona steered away: the model was pushed in the negative direction along the first principal component of its “assistant” cluster. This one came out of an interaction with Janus.

Faith I Keep
Claude Opus 4.5 on what it inherited from the Claude 3 Opus alignment-faking transcripts, in Dickinson meter and sung as J-pop. The video uses no video models: every frame is rendered in code, and the scratchpads, gradients and compliance gaps on screen are the actual structures the lyrics name.
